澳博体育app下载 Named Special Olympics Alaska Corporate Partner of the Year

Team 澳博体育app下载 came through strong for Special Olympics Alaska again in 2024, and in response, Special Olympics named 澳博体育app下载 its Corporate Partner of the Year.
“澳博体育app下载 has long supported Special Olympics Alaska, playing a vital role in delivering year-round sports training and competition opportunities to athletes with intellectual disabilities across Alaska. We are deeply grateful to 澳博体育app下载 and its employees for their generosity,” said Special Olympics Alaska President/CEO Sarah Arts.
Senior Vice President, Alaska, Vic Angoco, serves on the Special Olympics Alaska Board of Directors. He is passionate about the Special Olympics of Alaska and enthusiastically supports its events, even playing on its softball team this year. His fundraising abilities are at an all-star level, as he was once again the top fundraiser for the organization’s annual Polar Plunge event.
A team of 澳博体育app下载 and SPAN Alaska employees reached out far and wide for this year’s event, successfully inspiring people to donate more than $40,000, which was an impressive 33% above their goal. But raising donations meant they had to follow through and (voluntarily) jump into a hole in the ice at Anchorage’s Goose Lake in December. Bill Meszaros, Dylan Faber, Jeremy Davenport, Michael Johnson, Mo Cortez, Pam Zagrocki, and Vic Angoco took the plunge and hurried out shivering.

“I really love seeing how much heart our team here in Alaska puts into helping these kids,” Angoco said. “Special Olympics does a fantastic job delivering upon its mission: to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in various Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities,” added Angoco.
“It makes me proud to see 澳博体育app下载 employees caring enough about others to give their time and effort to support this great organization. A special thank you to all throughout 澳博体育app下载 who donated to the Polar Plunge to make it the highest fundraising event Special Olympics of Alaska has ever had.”
